MIST IN THE MOUNTAINS (2018)

   

  The "Mist in the Mountains" is a remote, hardly approachable area. The access to this area takes effort, requires intellectual and physical sacrifice. This area imposes distress; the mist covers everything, yet it uncovers the pure essence of the world, its fundamental unfamiliarity. This distress restores the weight of things (the Heideggerian Being) and the unfamiliar becomes the point of departure for existential contemplation.

"Mist in the Mountains" is a new piece conceived and directed by Michalis Agelidis and his collaborators. The piece was commissioned by the Municipal theatre of Kavala in 2018.
